All You Ever Wanted to Know about ILL
Interlibrary Loan is a system of cooperation between libraries to share their collections. Basically, we know which library owns material, and we ask on your behalf if they will lend or copy that material.
The tabs above will tell you a bit more about our policies, what's possible, and other useful info. If you still have questions, just ask!
Mission
The Sherrod Library Interlibrary Loan service provides access to materials not held in ETSU library collections to currently enrolled students, current employees, and faculty emeriti for all colleges in the University except the Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy.
What is ILLiad?
ILLiad is the electronic system you use to request an item through Interlibrary Loan. The name ILLiad can be thought of as an acronym for InterLibrary Loan internet accessible database.
Why do I need my username and password to log into ILLiad?
Your username and password gives you secure access to information about your interlibrary loan requests. This privacy feature also enables you to edit your personal information such as your email or phone number. Plus, by using your standard ETSU domain username and password, you have one less thing to remember.
