ETSU Counseling Center

The Counseling Center provides confidential short-term mental health services to all currently enrolled ETSU students.  Most services are free of charge.

The clinical staff is comprised of licensed doctoral-level psychologists, and master’s-level counselors and social workers.  All are experienced with college students.  Some counseling services are provided by graduate-level counseling interns.  In addition, there are two senior psychiatric residents.

Common issues addressed are:

  • Adjusting to college
  • Self-esteem
  • Depression
  • Stress management
  • Family trauma
  • Relationship problems
  • LGBTQ
  • Grief
  • Anxiety /Panic
  • Substance Abuse
  • Sexual assault

      

In addition In addition to individual, couples and group counseling, our center provides psychiatric services, mental health resource referral, consultation, and outreach education in a variety of content areas.

 

The Counseling Center is open for walk-in intake appointments:

Monday-Thursday

10-11:30A and 2-3:30P
