The Counseling Center provides confidential short-term mental health services to all currently enrolled ETSU students.  Most services are free of charge.

Our Center is staffed with psychologists, licensed professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and social workers. We also have psychiatric residents, master's level counseling and social work interns, and bachelor's level case managers.

Common issues addressed are:

  • Adjusting to college
  • Self-esteem
  • Depression
  • Stress management
  • Family trauma
  • Relationship problems
  • LGBTQ
  • Grief
  • Anxiety /Panic
  • Substance Abuse
