Welcome to East Tennessee State University!

Distance Education students enjoy the same library privileges as on campus students. This libguide shows you how you can access many of the resources that the library has to offer. 

Sherrod Library has a full-time Distance Education Librarian dedicated to helping DE students with their research and ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed.  We offer Document Delivery and InterLibrary Loan, sending books and articles to students’ homes if not able to pick up materials needed for their research.  Text, phone, 24/7 Chat and email reference services are available. Students are also able to borrow books from other Tennessee academic libraries, using the Tennessee Academic Library Collaborative (TALC) Card.  We hope you will make full use of the materials and services we offer at Sherrod Library.

eLearners have access to library resources and services with a GoldMail Account.
